Live
During my years as a teenager, I learned more about the outside world, and as a little girl, it seemed harmful, until I got up to about the age of nine.
At that point in my life, I was inspired and ready for literal danger, and I assumed at that age, that all the danger came from tigers, and lions, and wolverines, and all that kind of stuff.
And so I learned more about them, and wrote down facts about four to five hours a day.
Later, at the age of ten or eleven, I became an expert in Entomology in my own way, and learned from the best professors as a volunteer.
I continued for years, and created a love for bugs and Animals, and as a volunteer, I discovered my own ways to help out at the "Bean museum" in the insect section of Entomology, I learned so much from a lot of people, and though I was only a volunteer and knew nothing about how they do the important stuff, I learned more then I expected and I am proud and glad I took that opportunity.
I am not only into the subjects of insects, but I also love my religion, I get most of my inspiration from my young womens group. They have tought me more about service then anything else I know how to bring effect into my life.
Girls camp is coming up soon, and I am trying to stay confidant in those situations.
Last night I went to the most amazing fireside meeting, which involved a speaker named
Jill Stevens.
She was in the army In Iraq, and was also the winner of the Miss Utah Pageant.
She told more about the army.
She showed us all the photos she had brought home from those experiences.
She served eight years in the Army.
I was so motivated as she spoke.
After she finished, I went up on the stand and asked for her autograph.
She also gave me her blog name as well.
I cant imagine how wonderful and amazing her life is like, but now I know what I want to do in my life.
While I am the age that I am, I will continue to learn more about how to be involved with service, and will never forget why.
There is also going to be a time in my life were I will want to be a missionary for my church, and serve others in that way as well, so, now, as a service to myself, I will stay alert for danger, spiritually, emotionally, and fiscally, not knowing what the world will throw at me in life.
And even at my age, I will stand as a soldier, creating ways to serve and defend my family, country, friends, and my beliefs.
