Snow... :(

My dad and I climbed timp this year. I just have to tell ya...
It was the scariest thing I have ever accomplished!
I thought it would be a peace of cake compared to hiking through the whole grand canyon, but you know what, snow is my problem. You guys, I am not looking forward to winter! That is my weakness, snow.
As you can see, that mountain has a lot of it, well, that mountain isn't actually Timpanogus, but just to see snow way up there, doesn't it make you dizzy?!
We went when it was summer, and it still had tones of snow.
As we were reaching to the top, fog surrounded us and we couldn't see ten feet in front of us!
We never reached the top, but I am actually going to climb it for my third time next year and I will reach the top!
This post is suppose to encourage all of you guys to just make up your mind, live what you want and do what you love to do. But especially, to keep at it!

Like a lot of people...

Like a lot of kids, I sit here in my room, on my bed comfortable and snug hoping to get a good page written, and right now, like most kids, I stay up late until my work is done, unless I am like some kids, who are just lazy enough to fall right to sleep on there key bored. :)
Today, like too many people, there is a flue hazard in my family...
Sorry, I'm not suppose to be spreading bad new, but the cutest thing happened today when my brother continued to be sick.
He found out the swine flue was going around and was told it was dangerous.
Petrified by the thought, he wasn't at all worried about his own health, instead, he locked himself down stairs making sure none of the rest of the family would catch his sickness.
My dad brought the T.V from his office next to my parents bed.
Cade watched “Monsters V.S Aliens” and has been in that room with my dad together all day long so he wouldn't be afraid to give any one the swine flue.
My hope is that everyone will think of him and though most aren't afraid of any flues going around, the swine flue has already killed over two thousand people.
So please remember to wash your hands, not only for your health, but the health of the ones around you.

Just keep that in thought please.

Anyway, I realized today that my older sister Morgan has been thinking a lot about her future for her future family.
She even brought me her house plans until she asked me “How are you going to raise your kids Madison?” right then I realized me and her were going to have some kind of war to see who's children are the most decent, or maybe even who's kids are the smartest.
At that point I thought about my mom and her sister. It always seams like they both work so hard to make sure there kids are the greatest kids in the whole world!
Do you want to here my solution for getting out of this situation?
I'm just going to move to Africa.
:)

Ha ha, I can here Morgan downstairs threw my vent. She's talking on the phone to here boy friend.
I don't really care about having a boy friend until I'm about 17.
Morgan's boy friend is named Jacob, and he is in Texas right now for two months while leaving Morgan in agony until he comes back from visiting his family.

So...
Right now it is 12:31 a.m , so I guess I could say it is Tuesday now instead of Monday.
That always freaks me out, THE HECK WITH TUESDAY! It should still be Monday.

Anyways, I guess I have to say goodnight and end this page.
So, I will see ya later.
Remember what I said about the swine flue!

When you ask...
"what the heck is a blog?" The answer is here.
Some people want others to see their pictures, others seem to want it because their friends have one, but a real blog is suppose to be a public, life long, on going journal.
In my house, I have about 5 journals total, not because I love to make things more interesting and pick out another cool looking writing tool, because unfortunately, I misplace them,
but when I finally reasoned to get a blog, my life didn't change, I just found a place where I could put it.
"My name is Madison Barksdale"... See, that's a start for a journal.
Now we just have to put the interesting things in there...
Umm... lets see, hobbies... hobbies are interesting!
My hobbies:
1. I love to play the cello.
2. I like to stay close to the gross and the exciting stuff, I guess thats because the boring stuff is just not me.
3. Well, I like to go camping, and I love climbing and stuff like that. And the most awesome thing I absolutely can not stop doing, is back packing, I am the back packing queen! So, take me with you next time you go through the Grand Canyon :)

Well, I guess from most of that you can tell I am pretty adventurous, so I guess the next step is...
WHERE I LIVE!
Yes, that is interesting to some people, except I can't like, give you my whole address you know, that would be kind of stupid of me... he, he, he. anyway.
I live in Utah, yes, that is in the United states of America which could be referd to as paradise to most people because, well, you know, America is like the place everyone is talking about, which would lead to the topic of how great it is. :) so, in other news, I am a dumb blond with no job at age 15 which is lame just because I love money, yes, lots and lots of money, I already have like 50 dolors right now, ya!
My sister has probably about 300 dollars, but she has a job so, 50 dollars is like a thousand dolors to a person that doesn't have a job...
Never mind.
So, I guess the next thing ya do in a blog is tell what is up and what is happening at this moment.
"You will be very proud of me when I say that I have gotten all my homework done for today with Brain Honey."
Also my family is trying to get this darn home clean for tomorrow.
Why?
Well, I'll tell ya why!
My dad, along with the whole family (except My older sister. she's not on the same page) has decided to sell our house and move into the big country side to make our life turn into a hard working, slave driving, long living, farmer life.
Why again?
Some think we hate our neighbors, others wonder if we are even legal! but the truth about it all is...
We like cows.
And chickens and the fresh smell of open spaces. Don't worry, we don't hate our neighbors, and I was just joking about that illegal thing, my family just thinks its more reasonable to get away from the mortgage and build on a big peace of land so the whole family can enjoy it for the rest of there lives until the generations end. Cool huh?
I personally am very excited about the whole thing, and yes there has been some emotional times with my friends that I will never get over, but actually, they won't be seeing me for a long time anyway.
Why again you say?
I am going to China!
How long? ONE WHOLE YEAR! yes, it is long and I know you want to ask why again so i'll just get this out in the open... My grandparents have been to china for what ever the reason and however long ago, but they some how figured out I am ready to go too, so we are emailing some friends of their's, and making the arrangements, and I will be gone in two months tops!
Hopefully.
I am also very excited about that. We have even had a thirty year old women who came to live with us for a year just so I could take her class in high school and learn the Chinese language.
It was the most difficult lessons I have ever gotten involved in, but it was also very fun, and I was the best in my class, but I wouldn't encourage you to try to learn it for any stupid reason, unlike my reasons.
Anyway, I have decided I will make it a goal to put as many pictures of china as possible on my blog so you can see them and get an idea of what I am up to and what I have seen.
But that's not all, stick around and I will gradually put other pictures of places I have already been in the United states, ( because thats the only place I have been able to go, ) and like I said, America is paradise and I'll prove it!

Ta Ta for now, and I wish you many adventures to come, and many adventures to share... That means share them with me...

:)
